Well, lots going on in the Studio this month to be excited for.
To begin with, it’s been all about the new Floral Collection “A burst of Warmth” the past few weeks. I have the launch date officially set to September 22, so I have enough time to create beautiful florals to go with the season and also be cherished for year long. Real life flowers wither away and die, but I am hoping to create some through my paintbrush that will thrive forever.
Aside from painting these beauties, I have also been busy building some floater frames to give the paintings the perfect finishing touch and highlight their details even better. They will be a gorgeous addition and I can’t wait to share the finished pieces with you all.
For inspiration purposes, I have also been arranging some beautiful floral bouquets using fresh ones that I gather from our local market, as well as with some faux ones laying around the house. I have been photographing them, and also digging out old photos of flowers from my garden and from my evening hikes. I could not be happier to be amongst so much beauty throughout this process.
And last but not the least, I have my first ever group show coming up with Marshall’s Little Art Gallery in Greensboro, NC in October that I am super stoked about. After my official launch of this floral collection in my website, I will be bringing the paintings over to the gallery the last week of September in preparation for the show. The paintings will be available then both on my website and MLAG website.
