Preview the "LakeSide" Collection
Back in September 2022, my family and I moved to a new city close to Charlotte, North Carolina. My favorite thing about this new place is that a wide, sprawling gorgeous lake (although man made) is just a few minutes from our door step. This means, our evening strolls have gotten even more interesting, filled with more beauty feeding into my creative soul, but in a different perspective. My art has evolved into a new phase, and the studio has been beaming with new works.
I have ventured into working with a new medium, thinking out of the box and experimenting new techniques into my art practice. More will be covered on that in a separate blog post. The new paintings that have come out of this are the ones I have been the most proud of, as I have poured my heart into each brushstroke and in the end I myself cannot take my own eyes off of them. I have been staring at them for days, shuffling and rearranging them throughout the house. Yet, I can’t seem to stop admiring them. Not sure though if this is a valid feeling or if I am even supposed to feel this way about my own creation after all. But, I sure hope they grab my collector’s attention the same way as they did mine, if not better. My mission is to evoke beauty, love and compassion (all the things that I have felt while creating these pieces) in people’s life through these paintings. And that can only be accomplished when a piece reaches you and reside in your beautiful home.
I CAN’T WAIT TO SHARE THIS ENTIRE COLLECTION WITH YOU!
COLLECTION PREVIEW
A wide variety of size ranges are offered in this collection. The surfaces are both canvas and wood panels. The thinner canvases of 0.75 inch profile have been framed in a maple floater frame, which is highly recommended to get the finished look, but is also optional. Canvases that are 1.5 inch deep profile, do not require framing as the sides are painted too. The wooden panels already have a white frame installed. I offer other framing options too, so feel free to reach out at poojaroystudio@gmail.com to arrange for framing.
